New Salon Policies as of July 13th 2020
In accordance with the government guidelines, we are able to open on 13 July. I will be in touch with all clients who were booked in before lockdown commenced to re-book any necessary appointments. After I have honoured those appointments, I will be in touch with clients that made enquiries during lockdown to request appointments and proceed to book those in.
In line with the government guidelines there are a few changes that have been made that will take immediate effect as of re-opening.
- Please arrive to any future appointments on your own. We will not permit any plus ones, children or pets into the salon.
- If you are displaying any symptoms relating to COVID-19, please cancel your appointment and rebook at least 14 days later.
- If you have been outside of the country within the last 14 days, please rebook your appointment.
- If you have come into contact with anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (or that have been tested positive), please rebook your appointment.
Failure to comply with any of the above will result in you being asked to reschedule your appointment and a cancellation fee being charged.
Further changes and advice:
- Please book your appointments in advance - we will not be taking any walk in appointments.
- Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment unless your therapist has called you to make you aware of any cancellations before your appointment. Any late arrivals may be refused their appointment.
- All gift vouchers that have an expiration date from April 1st 2020 - July 13th 2020 will have an extension of a strict 4 MONTH period only. Please note we are giving a 4 month extension period to allow time for clients book in and use their vouchers there will not be any further extension on these vouchers so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
- We will continue to wear the relevant PPE for the relevant treatments. Disposable masks will be available for clients and temperature checks will be done on arrival to the salon. The wearing of masks and the checking of temperature on arrival are mandatory.
- Hand sanitiser will be made available at reception and in any of the treatment rooms. We will be asking clients to sanitise their hands upon arrival.
- We will be working on the basis of leaving a 15 minute gap in between all appointments to allow time for thorough cleaning of treatment rooms and surfaces before the next client. Due to this, we may be unable to accommodate the same number of clients in our working day. With this in mind, we are asking all of our regular clients to please book as far in advance as you would like as once appointments are gone, they’re gone.
- We will be changing our working hours (these will be announced soon).
- We would like to encourage the use of card or online payments where necessary. To avoid any over-handling of cash, we’d like to ask that should cash be your preferred payment method, please ensure you have the correct amount.
- As we will be working to stricter time frames on appointments, we are unable to provide any extra treatments during existing appointments that have not been booked in, in advance.
- Please bring minimal belongings into the salon and keep jewellery to a minimum.
